The Colne Valley Regional Park is the first large taste of countryside to the west of London.
The park is 43 square miles of farmland, woodland, waterways and villages. It is a living, working environment, providing a home to wildlife and a place for people to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life.
Groundwork South, the lead partner for the Colne Valley Park Community Interest Company, commissioned Blaze Concepts to design and develop a new website for the Colne Valley Park. The website needed to be a hub for information about the park, its activities and events, and to provide a platform for the park’s partners and stakeholders to share information and resources.
We designed and created a clean, modern website that is easy to navigate and provides a wealth of information about the park and its activities.
The website is built on WordPress, which allows the park’s staff to easily update and manage the content. The website includes events, news, points of interest map and activities such as walks.
The website also hosts the Landscape Camera Project which presents photographs from then and now in various locations around the park so visitors can see how the landscape has changed over time.
